I am a planner. A task manager. A to-do list maker. I like things that have a beginning... and an end. I get a thrill when I get to scratch something off my list. I love to see "the light at the end of the tunnel" and chase to get there.
Blogging. There is no ending. There is no "light at the end of the tunnel". That the struggle for me. A task with no end. A task I can't scratch off my list... permanently.
I KNOW there is value in it. I can see the benefits in blogging your thoughts and what you are doing and learning... especially in my field, as an educator. I believe there is value in looking back to measure your growth. The "want to" is hard for me.
The struggle is real... but I am DETERMINED to blog. Once a week. Gather my thoughts in one place. Share. Collaborate. That is what it is all about.
(Full disclosure. I used to blog. Along time ago. I was pretty good with it, but I grew out of it. Maybe it was the material I was blogging. Maybe it was the career change.
